Significance of autograph (prized):
Eddie Mathews is considered one of the greatest third basemen of all time, so having his autograph on this card is special.  However, on this last day of July in 1954, Mathews and Hank Aaron watched as Joe Adcock did what no other MLB player has ever done … hit four home runs and a double. What a box score game card with a HOF autograph of a player who played in the game.
Note: Shawn Green in 2002 and Nick Kurtz in 2025 would get 19 total bases for the MLB record.
